i talked to evosport, my tech at my shop and only thing that i came up was i'm at my own risk, the caliper will be leading instead of trailing, i dunno, i might have it mixed up.......been a long day.....

The C32 is definitely possible and economical, slightly bigger disk and caliper than our OEM ones...I've been tossing with the idea myself but its probably too small for my liking (cuz my wheels dwarf's the rotor - show u guys a pic later). From memory its not drilled either, so that would be another drawback...not so nice.
Would love to do the E55 one but I've been told the oem pump will not have enuf power to work the calipers - so braking will be compromized...is that true? So may need a whole new system rather than just bolting on the rotors and calipers. then again, if you went Brembo or other BBk's you'll need to do that anyway.

13.1 compared to brembo 14.1 is alright, good enough for me and they are cross- drilled, e55 don't don't cross- drilled so thats why no ones done that route....

Good, I've been told they're undrilled...then its back on to the wish list
my rotors need replacing soon. Ooops forgot I was lookign at the SL55 kit, not E55...but either one is wayyyy out of my league and won't fit without a lot of hassle I guess....
Just out of interest, how much does a pair (or 4) of C32 brakes cost over in the US?

Thanks Rich, I think I have a source that's in the range of the prices you have quoted (I assume its for a pair). Still considering other options as well but this seems to be the best value-for-money one....will wait for Alex to get his installed

is this true on the c32 kit?
The risks involved in any brake system would be failure; resulting in no brakes. While I have not heard of any problems doing so, essentially the caliper would be working in reverse, as the pistons are designed to accept the rotor in a particular direction.

Hoses?? May I suggest stainless steel brake lines for maintaining consisent brake pressure especially during threshold braking. Also, use a reputable racing fluid:
ATE Super Blue Racing
Motul 550/600
AP 550/600
Castrol SRF
Post some pics Alex when you've got them babies mounted.
