Anyone in the south SF Bay Area have a set of MB spring compressors?

Many of you will probably think I've lost my mind, but I'm planning to replace the front LCA bushings on our E320. I have a set of clamp-type spring compressors, but I can't fit both on the spring - the swaybar is in the way on the rear side.

As the subject suggests, I'm looking to borrow a clamshell-style compressor. Does anyone near me (I live in San Jose) have one I could borrow or rent?

No real rush yet. The car's still driveable, but Dear Wifey is griping about the vibration from the front end. It will probably be near Christmas by the time I can get to it.

Thanks in advance,
Scot

Have you contacted any of the local auto parts stores to see if they have ones you could rent?
