yup, price way too high, some like to get a great mark up price but not that much, i saw a ad in one of those japanse mag on those headlights going for 1,050 us price....

 

btw i got them in my car, even though it's for a 2000-2002, i had to mod them to fit on my 96-99 w210, thye look great and are okay overall

No, no HK benzo mags - nobody mods Benz's here .......my favorite Jap one is Only Mercedes...fantastic radical mods (Rich, yours wouldn't a bit look out of place in there), great pics and advertisements.......occassional babe ....very inspirational material

Hey whitey how difficult was this mod? would you happen to have step by step? i wonder if they will ever manufacture the pre 00 headlights! i desperately need to replace my yellowed lenses would love to go ahead and upgrade to these bad boys with aftermarket xenon ballasts at some point!

I never did it cuz I felt the quality of those things were'nt as good as the original. If you're in the LA area, Alex may be able to help.....he had to mod something I recall - over to you Alex.....

i just called gordon at rpi and ordered a set of 96-99 headlights which will be out of production in about 10 days shipping date will be mid june they are expecting 6 sets i bought number 3 so 3 more avail $495 +$55 shipping hurry fellas.

 

i still doubt this, i talked to them before and they had no idea...... i don't think they have a idea of when the pre 00 will come out....... but it's not to hard to fit them it but i'll believe it when i see it on the pre 00.......good luck man

 

hope he's correct in saying that that they are the pre 00 if not i guess i'll be asking for your tech advise

I just checked the www.rpiequipped.com website and they have some nice headlights for the E-class. But none for the CLK is there a way to fit E-class headlights to CLK? Or is there a website that has nice headlights for the CLK?
