Car wont Start With Power, Help!
well this sucks i just finished putting my new plates on in 10 degree winds and my 2000 w210 wagon will not start, the lights work as well as the radio, but when i try to start it there no attempt at a turnover there is nothing but a faint spark like sound. i did check the battery and its fine. i even tried to jump it just in case and still nothing. the worst part is that the car just became legal to drive after its been fixed for a month so i was realy exited to drive it tomorrow, any help would be great, thanks!

it isn't enough to say "...checked the battery and its fine." what we need are details of exactly
what has been done. for example, I measured the battery voltage using a volt meter. and if
so, what was the voltage reading when the ignition is off vs when the key was turned. did you
test the battery's specific gravity (if flooded cell design)?
when you attempted to jump the battery, describe the sequence.
your description, though generic, are not precise enough to provide insight into what you actually
did.
