Steering Wheel Jerking to the Left
The steering wheel on my 2000 E320 4Matic has been jerking to the left. It began happening pretty infrequently a few weeks ago. Now it will happen most times I try to drive it. I noticed it is more likely to happen at a higher speed, however it will randomly happen at lower speeds.
When it jerks to the left it feels like the tires are turning to the left and then correcting themselves. It will happen for a minute or two and then stop.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what it turned out to be.
