AMG Wheels on a 1998 E320
Just a question. I just got a 1998 E320 and I want to put a set of AMG Wheels on it. The sizes that I want to put on but don't know if they will fit are 18x8.5 30ET front with tire size 255/40R18 and 18x9.5 33ET back with tire size 285/35R18. Any idea if this will fit and not rub anything. What I have on the car now is 16 x 7.5" ET41 and tire size is 215/55R16. Thanks in advance.

just saying they're AMG wheels isn't giving the complete picture as there are other
considerations and factors for proper fitment. but just taking a stab, the front wheel
will be too close to the fender with that tire size and will likely result in scraping of
the wheel arch lip. the rear tire will stick out quite a bit but, because it is non-steering,
may just look like it's a funny car or something....or, as they say, wide and aggressive
stance.

Which AMG wheels? Some we can say yes just by seeing them, others it may not be so simple. Spacers or getting weird with the tire size may be necessary. You'll probably need to buy custom lug bolts too if fitting a newer AMG wheel.

The rims suppose to fit, but with staggered tires always go to manufacturer site and compare rpm.
