1997 E420 Interior
Hey all,
I have a 1997 E420 - now inside my Merc, there are a lot of vinyl pieces of trim, but from what I read online, the later W210s came with more leather trim pieces, such as the armrests, door trim, center console, etc. Has anyone tried to upgrade their car's interior? Is there advice anyone can give me on doing these jobs, or am I probably just wasting my time? (The interior of my car is in very good condition, because for the most part it was driven by an older couple, and was well taken care of.)
Thanks for your time

Yup, I'm currently in the process of wrapping some of the vinyl parts in my interior in parchment Italian leather. So far its only the center arm rest and some kick panels. My best advice is buy some good leather and find a good leather wrapping guy. If you remove the panels for them, you will save a ton. For instance, doing my arm rest was only $40.

I'd either go with a full face-lift interior swap or just do the individual pieces you want recovered like Flatline said. The less work it is for the person wrapping the leather the cheaper it will be.

Yeah I thought about the full swap like you said, but the leather pieces I do have in my car are still in great shape (tbh the vinyl pieces are in good shape too), so I can't justify a complete face-lift just yet. Thank you for your insight!
