There are no holes. The badges are simply glued to the surface with an adhesive.

just heat them up and wiggle them off. After they are off keep heating up the glue and keep rubbing it. It will come clean. Carefull not to burn your fingers!

Btw, a blow dryer works great and is the most common item in the household if you didnt known what i ment earlier by heating it up.

I debadged my trunk lid, but you can still see the shadow from the hardware that was there.

How do you get rid of that shadow?

Ed, I would try using a cleaner wax on the area where the badges were. If applying by hand, it may take a few tries. A polisher would work better. Meguiars and Mothers make inexpensive cleaner waxes that are available at places like Target or Discount Auto Parts, while Klasse is a more expensive product you may have to order.

if there's a shadow left over, you can buff it out..... we did it on a car and it looked good
