Replacing door pulls
I got a set of those wood door pulls from Performance Products for my 2002 E320 wagon. I'd like to install them myself rather than pay somebody to do it for me. I've done a search of this forum and have found lots of great advice for removing the door panels but nothing specific for removing the door pulls for my specific vehicle. Does anybody know if this information is out there and I just can't find it? I'm looking mainly for pictures of what my door looks like from the inside and whether or not I need any special tools. Also, do I actually need to take off the entire door panel to gain access to the screws holding the door pulls in place?
Thanks

Once you take the door panels off you will see the screws that hold them on. If you look at the new ones, you can see the number of holes in the top and bottom of the handle. I think there are two on top and one on the bottom. Yes, you do have to remove all 4 door panels.

E is right. You must remove the panels to replace them. I also replaced mine and it's quite simple. From what I remember I believe it was 3 screws, 2 on the top and 1 on the bottom. It's really easy once you remove the door panels, you'll be able to see what you need to do.
