hi, i have an issue with my ml 300cdi 2010.the car starts up great ,no knocking or chain issues but after about 3 miles i start getting a strange pa pa pa sort off gurgling sound when warm, this sound stops in idle and only on harder accleration does it reappear .my garage checked for faults and all clear , and checked egr and the turbo and all looks ok.the sound doesnt sound mechanic to me ,i can only hear this in the cabin and not when i put my head out the window The sound sounds like an air related sound but could be wrong.

The gurgling sound makes me think about the water pump

Hi thanks for the reply 👍 sometimes I think its gurgling but more off a air like flap sound like pa pa pa. This is my first MB so a bit nervous when it comes to different sound! I've had 2 outlander previous so no worries about reliability
