Instrument cluster and wipers inoperable!

I purchased a 1997 E300 for dirt cheap, the wipers don't work and the gauge is stone cold dead. Also all courtesy lights are dead. I have a multimeter and test light and I'm willing to investigate.

Where can I find a wiring diagrams? What should I check first?

Turn signals and hazards work.

you can start trying these diagrams. full set of schematics can be found at MBUSA for a subscription.
you can try your local library for automotive repair books or online database.

THANK YOU
After looking at the ground distribution G202 has to be good because my AC works, the AC Push botton unit/ blower motor share the same ground as the illumination control module/instrument custer .Ground G203 is good because that's what the relay module/transmission is connected too lol.I'm 99% positive my all my MAIN grounds are good, I haven't checked fuses, if they're blown, we have a short (please god no), if there's simply no power we have open wiring (power or ground side) or bad connections. However, if we have good power and ground we have either A no communication (bad module driver?) or B a bad cluster, I hope it's neither. But I doubt that, why would the instrument cluster guages, entire courtesy light circuit ,entire instrument cluster illumination circuit, and wipers all take a dump at once? This screams wiring issue or the possibility the previous owner blew MULTIPLE drivers. We'll see just how ugly this will get.

hey, you have the answer right there in your photo: just google the part number ! :-)

(this is what I have plugged into it. pretty neat little gadget. tons of info if plugged into
more modern cars. with 1999 E320 it has less data due to fewer sensors)
