Interior lights

Is there a light that's supposed to come on in a 99 E320 when you open the doors. I got nothing.

Thanks

would help if you can be more descriptive. there are couple of overhead lights in front of the cabin,
an overhead in the rear, and lights at the bottom of each door....and for some models, light
beneath the rear of the front seats. i'm unsure if there are front footwell lights. mine does not
but it's on my list to install

The front passenger dome lights in the centre above the rear view mirror and the ones in a back centre above the back dash at the edge of the headliner, can you manually turn-on these lights?

Check to see if you have light panels in the front / rear passenger doors (either on the lower part of the door panels or underside of the door jambs)

Did you get it resolved with the "settings" on the overhead console ?
