10" tire with - will it rub?
Looking to get 18inch rims for my 2010 e550 4matic. Specs are 18x8 - 35 offset. Tire size calculator assumes that if I do a 255/45 18, that the width will be 10inches wide. Will that tire size rub? Or should I stick to the usual 245/45 18.
Thanks in advance fam

you're pushing the envelope....and you will likely rub, be it the suspension or the wheel arch. but
also critical information you've not identified is what you suspension changes might be.
there can't be a definite yes/no answer until you take the current measurements and planned changes
into account. it will likely fit the rear okay
your car isn't one which falls within the coverage of this forum so you would benefit from owners who
share your ride. this isn't the forum for your model
