Just wanted to update you on the status of the NLA keyfobs and keys.
I've been waiting for over a year now to order a new infrared keyfob and a Master key for my '97 E200 (DAS 2a). I was told by my service advisor that they started doing these keys again in the last couple of months and that they will continue doing so until at least mid-2020.
Placed the key order around 3 weeks ago and I just received both the infrared fob and the master key. I paid 406$ for the infrared key and 90$ for the Master Key (+integrated transponder).
Interesting....
I heard no NLA issues with replacement W210 fobs from the stealerships. Got extra sets from them late 2017 and in 2018 with no issues.
As for the replacement key fobs for the W163s, that's another matter.
Anyone else, hear about or can confirm this past NLA key fob issue PortAxePlayer1 is commenting about?
