OEM Command Module update
I've been searching the web and can't get a straight answer. I have a 1999 w210 with the Bose system and wanted to swap to an OEM Command module that I found at a wrecking yard. Is this feasible? Your help is much appreciated.

In general - no, not COMAND.
Your 1999 has a single DIN unit - it is possible to changeout to a double-DIN aftermarket unit - with a modded trim piece - as long as that unit has 3V+ pre-out for connect to the Bose "amplifier".
Usually - you do lose steering wheel controls - it's another add-on headache to reconnect steering wheel controls to a aftermarket unit - but the added features of the aftermarket unit can make up the difference.
Keep the beat !
