Heating shielding rubbing - ticking noise when engine is hot - 320cdi oM613
Dear all,
I have one issue with my w210 320cdi 197hp. First of all sorry my English.
Whenthe car is cold i do not have any strange or ticking noise, but when the engine is warm/hot I got some ticking noise at low revs (1000rpm to 2500rpm). At iddle if I throttle I do not hear anything, only when in Drive position. I tried to put the car in a Lift to simulate and check the noise but in the lift there is no noise...only at the road in Drive position at low revs I got the tick tick tick. Seems not be from the engine as at idle if I rev the engine runs perfectly. Any idea? Could be the gear box?
