What are my options for new remotes? For the past two years I’ve use the valet key but it’s cracking so now I’m caring the metal key from one of my old remotes to open the car and then switch to Remote which will not unlock the car to start the car. I’ve already tried changing batteries dismantling the remote and cleaning the optics and none of that’s working on either of my remotes and now that the car is running so great I’m driving it more so I’d like to have a properly functioning key so I don’t go through this two-step open and drive thing

You can still order oem key fobs for your w210 from the stealership. Unlike the W163s and R129s, where oem key fobs are no longer available (Valet keys are still available)
Imho, I would recommend picking up 2 replacement FOBs and an extra valet key.

there is an off chance (not likely but may be lucky) that you can cannibalize from an Ebay sourced
