What is this hose for?

I was messing around with my duovalve today, as warmer air is coming out of driver center vent and cold air from passenger vents. I noticed this small hose that is not connected to the hose in the second picture. It is definitely sucking air. Any idea what the hose does?

I will get the part somewhere online as it seems the nipple it connects to is broken off. Any idea of the name or part number for the nipple?

This vacuum tubing supply vacuum from PSE to flappers when you use RES function.
You might not notice its lack in the summer, but better have it fixed.

Thanks Khomer and Kajtek....I'll get it fixed. That thread you linked is perfect...same issue as mine. Hard to do a good search using my phone and not having my readers with me. Now, I need to look into the AC issue....doesn't sound like this affects the warm/cold vent issue.

Depending on where you are located, the 35-40+Cel temps wreaking havock, isnt going to be comfortable without an ice cold AC brewsky.

That's clearly the ionic decompacitor line that adjusts the fluid levels in the bionic-fuel cell!!
