Headlight lens replacement in 2001 E320

they are relatively easy to swap out - similar in dis/assembly to all w210s.
the headlight shell is a little more involved vs pre-2000 models (taking less than 5 mins) because the 2000-02 bumper will need to be loosened or removed
the last and important note is that the 2000-02 headlight replacement lens are more challenging to find new, OE or aftermarket, and just plain expensive (96-99 about $120 aftermarket) so you may need to settle for junkyards or Ebay used

You can do amazing things on polishing... 1st step after masking off the painted trim use odor free EZ-Off oven cleaner to removed the remaining "old UV coating" which is really the layer that yellows/frosts up.. and stripping that old layer off makes polishing EZ.... polish and use a sealer and you're done
