Shift knob help

Finnaly bought one but need help. How do i replace it is it screw on or i just pull it out. THANX

on the base of the shift, u have to twist the knob counterclockwise one quarter turn. then lift the shift off.

Use something with a good grip, like those non-slip rubber mats some people put on their dashes. I heard a few people had problems twisting the part loose. What knob did you get Hubert? Pix?

BTW, before you ruin your OEM, it is the black/grey plastic ring at the base of the knob that you turn. Once loosened, it should drop off the main body of the knob. Hope this helps.
