The gauges in my 96 w210 quit working, the message/mileage and warning lights work, just the TEMP, GAS, RPM, SPEED gauges quit. When i put the key in and switch on the RPM needle vibrates/jumps, also when switch is turned on the Gas gauge works, but when engine is started it does not, all the gauges read 0 when engine is on. Also, dont know if its related or not the center DOME light / sunroof panel has a loud buzz to it and seems to be in-sink with the RPM gauge jumping, when dome light delay goes off the RPM quits jumping. any suggestions?

If you don't have the diagnostics, get a replacement IC which is probably worth more that the value of the creampuff
