Hi guys.
Considering purchacing a chrome trunk trim strip for my silver 2000 W210.
Anyone got a photo i could look at?And where to look for one.

Here is mine with the chrome trunk strip above the license plate. There is a seller on ebay that has them all of the time for around $45 named BMWMB.

I was looking at your pics and saw you added an in dash cd player. How much did that cost you? I'm also looking to get one. Any improvement in sound quality? I also have an 96 W210

It is a better sounding stereo and more convenient. It is the factory Audio 10 CD only sold in europe. I got it off of German Ebay, www.ebay.de . They sell for a lot less on there but you have to pay in euros and communicate in German.

If you find one on Ebay, make doubly sure it is sized for US models. Many parts sellers don't understand that the euro version is too long for the US trunklid shape. I spent 2 months trying to get some monkey to take a return on one.

Another "chrome" thing that I like, and installed on my car, is the cluster ring. I am not much into chrome headlight and gear shift panel. I think it's all depend on car & interior color.
