Lamp Failure light

Lamp Failure light
Hey everyone,
It's been a long time since I've posted, but I check in periodically for bits of info from all the knowledgeable members here!
A few weeks ago, some guy rolled down his window and told me my right brake light was out. I had someone check because my center light has never worked (I thought he may have meant the center one), and it worked. Disregarded it until Monday when my lamp failure light came on. Sure enough, the right brake light was out. Replaced both sides with Sylvania 21/4 bulbs and checked to make sure they work (which they do). Now my "lamp failure" light comes on periodically. No apparent reason for it, just comes on automatically. Any ideas?

Thanks, E-Klasse. I was thinking there was some sort of "reset" or something along those lines. I tried cleaning off the contacts...maybe I'll try sanding them down a bit....appreciate the help.
