HELP: Rear dome light out
I have a 2000 E320 and (of course) just after it went out of warranty I had the rear dome light go out. I have parktronic, and the parktronic feature in the dome light still works, but the light itself is out.
I checked the fuse up front under the hood and it seems to be good.
Could this be simply a light bulb problem? (is there just one bulb for the whole dome?) Or is there another fuse that I need to check?
If it is a light bulb problem, then how do I replace it (graphic diagram appreciated) and what part number replacement bulb do I need? What tool(s) do I need?
Apparently these rear domes with parktronic aren't too easy to work with because my dealer seemed to need krazy glue (which stunk up my car) to re-install the dome on my 1998 E320 when one of the parktronic lights went dim. I'd like to avoid making the same mistake, so suggestions are apprecatiated.
