'97 E200, '06 E350 & '23 E350
Curious No Crank Issue
Hello There,
Boy have I got an interesting story here for my '97 E200.
Car Locked -> Unlocked With Key Fob -> Starts Normally.
While running -> Turn engine off -> Remove Key From Ignition -> Put Key Back in ignition -> Try to start -> No Crank at all
I would have to lock the car -> Unlock again -> Engine starts normally.
Now my father swears that's how it's been since he got it new, I can't seem to find any documentation on DAS 2a that describes the behavior above.
My key is the flip key, infrared receiver in the rear view mirror, no LEDs in the doors.
Key & Mirror are brand new parts from Mercedes so we can rule those out of the equation.
What do you guys think?
