Fuses identification
Hi All,
I bought an used W211 220d 2003 model recently.
When i checked the fuse box in the trunk, the fuse 13 is broken and no fuses in ports 11 and 12.
What would be the implications. When i googled, i found that
11 - Rear end control unit ( found that fuse no 7 is also Rear end control unit)
12 - Cargo area connector box
13 - Interior socket
I am planning to get new fuses, but would like to know the purpose of the above

What is "broken fuse 13" mean? Fuse is out? or That fuse terminal is blowing out the fuses? No power at the fuse?
Please be specific.
What issues are you having with fuses, 11, 12?

11 and 12 is empty ...no fuses connected there.
Since this is not a new car, I'm not sure whether 11 and 12 is intentionally kept blank or due to poor maintanence by the prev user.
I'm just trying to find out whether any of the equipments are not working due to this

Have you looked in the fuse boxes? - under the hood and in the trunk/ Underside of the lids will show the fuse layout and purposes.
11 is trunk (boot) release
12 is a cigarette lighter accessory power in the boot.
Previous owner may have possibly removed these fuses ?
Perhaps due to some electrical issue?
