I'm restoring my 2001 e320 wagon 4Matic by hand, suspension to body. I live in New Mexico now but came from Canada, who has more rust? Good question but I know I can switch out body parts on my burgundy beast easier than me so I'm doing a poor mans paint job and acquiring fenders and the rest in the same color of the car and then paint it next year or the year after. I'm not sure if the color is a ruby red metallic or a bordeaux red? I've seen both and they look the same. I've sourced and bought a passenger front fender but I need the back drivers side panel and noticed it seems to be all one piece, including the bar above the windows back to the front of the car? Wow, never noticed that. Not sure how to even source it. Cut and weld in new piece? Geez no idea there. I need a drivers and passenger door as well both are rotted at and behind the trims and door handles. I bought this sweetie for 3k CDN just before I moved to NM and it's been a constant switch out and fixer but I love it so I'm wanting to rebuild that rust out if anyone has any good sources with my color. The Japanese made Canadian import 2001 E320 4Matic Wagon. This unit has an extra part on the emissions that isn't found on the German made models. There's so much versatilaty and space in this wagon that it really is an all around handy unit for any family. Will do some serious hauling including attaching a tow package. This wagon hauls!
