Hi, seek for expert help for Vacuum Tube / Hose. Here's the situation:

I DIY crankshaft position sensor, and found a Vacuum Hose (see the underneath Photo) idle. Do you have any idea what's it for?
This is a RHD vehicle and the photo is on passenger side.

Left Side (Passenger side) .... Should this hose be connecting to somewhere?



For comparison, this one is Right Side (Driver side)

Supplement information, my AC also got some issues:- While starting the engine, every thing looks normal. After a few minute, the central vent blowing is cut and it's go to defrost which makes the windshield foggy. I search and found there's a vacuum hose may be dilapidated in between firewall and intake engine. I'll do an eye ball checking later. Thanks.
