W210 Tuning software
Does anyone know of a tuning software compatible with my W210 E430? I'm trying to get a dyno tune but they want me to find software or they won't do it.

They offered to give my car a tune for $600 but they said they've had very bad luck with W210 and could brick my ECU so I said no. If any place could make me a custom tune it would be this one it seems like but they just aren't confident. I could go with Renntech but I don't want to ship my ECU to them and it looks like they discontinued the e430 tune. I just gotta keep my car stock I guess haha.

Go-fast goodies are a quick fix but if you're looking for performance AND drivability consider suspension upgrades like thicker antisway bars, lower coil springs and AMG wheels. You can take these upgrades in stages. There are also some low-buck tricks using stock MB coil spacers to lower the COG too. Again Google and the sticky section in this forum are your friends here. A properly tuned/maintained E430 has plenty of power, making it corner like a M3 and go deeper into turns w/o braking would enhance drivability more than upping 0-60 times.

H&R and Eibach both make anti-roll kits for the W210. Other members may have used these and can comment. I have put upgraded sway bars on Volvos, BMW's and even a Buick and that would be a good Stage I step. You are wise to respect your springs, maybe your local shop will install the kit since it sounds like you have bought your way into their good graces. Have fun.

Struts
I don't know where to ask this so I'll just keep this here. Does anyone know of a good strut to pair with H and R lowering springs for the W210? Do you even need them or can you keep OEM and or just replace them after the springs.

hi, I'm about to, I think, purchase a great sounding 2002 E430 and I really like your approach. Which sway bar set should I get as a first step? I have been watching Monoblocks for awhile and yes it's a classic look but pricey for the OEM ones. There are plenty of other AMG ones, just not quite as cool but still nice. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

First step suspension upgrades for an E430?
Hi all, I just purchased what I hope will be a very solid 2000 E430 Sport. I'm interested in mild upgrades i.e. slight lowering, sway bars, etc, I've been lurking on this great site for awhile hoping I'd find a good E430 so fairly familiar with the process. H&R offer both lowering springs and anti sway bars, are both recommended or can I get away with just the springs, etc. Car already has mono blocks. Also thinking about an E55 type exhaust upgrade, any suggestions? Thanks. Hopefully I'll post pics soon.

Exhaust and Springs E430
If you are looking for a good sound to this car removing the muffler resonator or secondary cats sounds amazing. I did all 3 and it is very loud but if you want something more subtle the resonator and muffler delete has a really nice tone that isn’t too loud. Also if anyone can answer the question about what struts to pair with the lowering springs I would really like to know.

E430 exhaust mods
Hi, Thanks for the suggestions, I'll ponder. I've been looking at a replacement E55 muffler to start, there are several decent looking ones on eBay. What, if any, difference will that make? I'm looking for simple solutions and like the look of the chrome exhaust.

I have a 2002 E55 that was bought off a person who's Mercedes tech and works at one of the eurocharged facilities. The car has a custom cold air intake, Kleeman headers. custom exhaust and a built transmission. Car was custom engine and transmission tune by the eurocharge and makes 360 at the wheels. Car sounds mean and is blast to drive
