Aluminum Door Lock Pins
Need a set of nice aluminum door pins. Having trouble finding them. I don't care if they are AMG, Brabus, or whatever, just need to get rid of goofy, black, golf-tee style stockies. ForMyMercedes.com has a nice set, but is out of stock right now. Where else can I look? Don't want plastic, must be metal.

edited to add: Has anyone got any instructions on how to install these things? I'm just curious b/c I'd like to get some eventually too and I have no idea how to put them in. Do they just unscrew or do you have to take apart the whole door panel to get at them? Thanks!

Hey Steve, I ordered a set from Jerry (formymercedes.com). Guess I will have to wait a while for him to get them.
How do you like them? They look good? Good quality? Maybe I will have better luck installing them than the steering wheel.

Peeping down the door pin hole the pin seat looks different? I tried to re-screw it (pin) back down and it would not go back down. Now I have 3 pins at normal height and 1 that is really really high. I now have to remove the Magnum door panel to see what's up and determine if the pins will fit the W210.

Can you please tell me where did you buy this from and how much does it cost? Also, when you lock the door, does the pin disapear into the door and away from our view?
Thanks for the info. and help

These are exactly the same as my original plastic ones (aka "CLK" or post-facelift (mmm, weird that I should have them on my 98)) hence will hide inside the hole:
