Mark cam bolt relative to rear axle carrier?

2001 E320 4matic wagon here.

New wheel carriers going in and I've got a service note on the track rod (tie rod) that says I'm to mark the cam bolt relative to the rear axle carrier. Diagram as shown.

The cam bolt has two offset washers, one is attached to the bolt head, the other has a notch where it slides up the cam bolt in it's notch.

However there's no notch in the actual carrier frame hole where this goes. There's an oval hole, much different than your standard round hole for bolts but there's no notch in those ovals, meaning this cam bolt has nothing restricting it from simply turning around and around, outside of being torqued.

Does anyone know what it is I'm misunderstanding here?

A bit of research on subject has done the job. These are cam bolts and their job is to adjust the camber on the wheel. I'm redoing the entire rear end so I'm eyeballing the wheels much like I did the front end and then I'll take it into the city for a full alignment.
