the good and the bad
Bad news: Pulling into a parking lot on Friday night, got hit by a kid in his new WRX, peeling out of a parking spot in reverse. Front left fender is screwed up and the wheel is completely out of whack (cambered in). So, after spending the weekend getting the car towed a couple hundred miles, it's now back at the shop.
Wish me luck, guys.

I can feel for you. I have been w/o my car for two weeks exactly today...dealer is replacing all four doors due to rust that was MB error (poor priming per my MB dealer).
So I have been driving a rental C240 around, and am really missing my car! I am trusting that the dealers repair dept does a good job!
Sorry to hear that you're having to deal w/repairs so soon to ea other...I guess it was a good thing no one was hurt

At least our cars should have a nice shine to them when they get back home.
Just hope that these repair jobs do not harm the long-term paint life on our beauties!!
