anyone got roof spoiler on their w210
Yo Rich, this is exactly what we've been discussing (but not CF unforunately)!!!!!!
Might even consider one on my next trip to the US.......
Davey...I'm currently reluctant to pull the trigger on the roof spoiler, gotz to think it over more. This unit w/ CF inlays would cost considerably less than the BC full carbon...approx. $350
Dude, let me know if your interested cuz their shop is 15-20 mins. away.
1) Quality of the part - is the part really good (no wavey-ness, straight, etc; if you didn't know better you would have thought it was the genuine item) or is it good for $150 and 'what more do you expect'?
2) Do they or can they paint in MB OEM colors? I have Royal Indigo and don't want to wind up with a blue or purple part that doesn't match my car (but $250 is a great deal painted).
3) I'm assuming that your's isn't painted. Is it primed for painting?
4) Do they do anything else for a W210? That was the only item for sale on e-bay from them.
5) Black windshield glue? How do you get the spoiler to stay on? Can this glue be removed easily if I decide to take it off later? Are there any clips or anything else?
Thanks. Ohhhh so tempting....

2) As for the paint, I'm sure it goes to a bodyshop, hence the ability of getting the appropriate color, however, properly color matching it to your paint would be better left to a shop that is able to see the car.
3) Came unpainted. Primed I believe....not sure. It was gray. It'll need just the basic painting process done to it, nothing exhaustive or out of the ordinary.
4) They sell Carlsson stuff. But nothing else for W210's other than clear sidemarkers.
5) The spoiler is solely held on down by the glue. Nothing else. It's not gonna fly away. I hope. LOL
Anyway, for the price, you can't go wrong!

Hmmm, so I can get it off with just a putty knife? Thats cool. By the way, where do you park your car at night?
