Question Crooked steering wheel

Hello,

I am a newbie here and i'm glad to join Mercedes community.
I have a question. Recently I bought a Mercedes w210 E430 sedan, and I adore it. But recently I started to feel, that my steering wheel is crooked. But I'm not talking about center position or something like that. My wheel feels like it is crooked sideways. I will insert image. And I just wanted to ask, if somebody had simmilar issue and can give to me some info about that.
Thank you.

In my mind, your wheel has demonstrated a degree of 'runout' so if a dial indicator was positioned 90º in front of the rotating plane the dial would indicate unwanted high vs low spots as the wheel is being turned. If this is the case I might suspect that the car may have been involved in an accident or hard braking which resulted in a high amount of force having impacted the wheel (like the driver). Or, let's say a steering wheel lock bar (e.g. Club) was attached and someone tried to forcefully remove it or something. Whatever, the steering wheel was twisted in the process. If I had to deal with this I might attempt to disassemble the steering wheel and even remove it to see if the cause may be poor attachment or in fact, the metal spokes of the wheel have become twisted. The fix would determine how best to realign the wheel at that point.

its amazing to me that you dident notice such a detail while falling in love with the w 210 in any event the wheel must be removed and i believe replaced, however the removal process is not for the light of heart therefore you have a decision to make------drive the car as is till the wheels fall off or spend 7-8 hundred with a shop that knows MB for replacement
