btw, yesterday i saw a guy with madhi rims , very interesting, 18 i believe, and he had painted his black rocker panel white to match his 97 white body..you could see specks.like little dots on the white paint,,,pimples?, anyway, at one time i thought about painting it, but now not so sure .....

Mmmm, he obviously bought too much smoke paint
The kit is Lorinser.
New SLK style wheels, always wanted to see what they look like on a W210....now I'm not so sure and the offset on that is terrible, YUCK!
Painting the rocker white should be no problem provided you "bake" the paint. The rocker itself is uneven, kind of dimply hence maybe he polished off the peaks and may be the paint didn't receive the proper treatment. Mine was painted for about 1.5 yrs before I got the AMG.
OMG, what did he do to the handle? Chew on it?

The guy might have gone a bit overboard with the smokeout look! In my book, less is more.
