Fun Weekend Project

I have a spare headunit and a changer decommissioned from my E430. Instead of letting them sit in the garage and collect dust, I thought it might be a fun weekend project to try to install them in my other car, 93 Toyota Previa. Does anyone have any idea where I can get a layout of the back panel of the headunit, namely mappings of each pin to power, speakers, amp and etc.? Thanks,

DT

Well if its the one from your 01 e430 you will need fiber optic cords from the deck to the changer and that will more than likely run you more than a new head unit. Also I don't think the MB head unit has any internal amp in it. I think it just provided a signal to the Bose stereo. Besides they sound like **** why would anyone bother. Just sell the CD changer and then buy a new head unit.

I believe you can connect the changer to a regular Alpine compatible HU. You need just remove FO adapter from it.
