Best springs

Looking for the best springs for 430sport. I'm sure alot of W210 owners have different setups so from your experiences, what would you recommend.

I don't want it dropped to low and don't want to lose that much comfort in ride. Would also like to use stock shocks if possible.

Ture dat, but prob is, we rarely ride in each other's car so we can't compare. It it really is personal preference and you will prob hear everyone say their's is the best.

For me, my Eibach's ride and handle well - balance between comfort and performance. When I say ride quality, I really mean it feels comfortable, unlike most performance springs. The only drawback is Eibach makes the front look a little disproportionately higher than the rear, no matter how I'd changed the spring pads

For a good, nice drop (dunno about ride quality) you wont go wrong with an H&R cupkit.

C,

First aftermarket springs I purchased for the e-ride were Lorinser, the drop is minimal...in fact I was llike WTF, I paid mula for this But the ride was very close to stock. If you want a second opinion on these, holler at Aun @ F1 cuz he's using them now.

Currently, my H&Rs are doing me good.

Also, bear in mind when your power-adder is in the mix, you'll want a spring/shock combo to sustain the extra hardware.

Not ready yet. I need to change a few more things before I post.

Thanks for the compliment.

I agree with Whitey......the Eibachs don't lower the front quite as much as rears. The front needs to drop another 3/8" or so.

I have Eibachs and #1 pads front and rear on my E430 Sport. Ride is excellent.

If I had it to do over....I would go with H & R.

Actually I don't think that's quite true - its just an illusion. Recently a Japanese magazine (those Japs really do study things to their minutest detail!) installed 5 different brands of springs on the same E-car (at least the same specs and all) and took pictures of them from the exact same angle, distance etc.

The Eibachs dropped the car pretty much by the same height front and back, whereas there's more of a drop in the front with the H&R's and of course, more of a slam overall, its very obvious when you have them side by side......and that was the look I'm looking for

Depends on which pads your car has from factory.
