The more I read the worse it gets!!!
...have a look at these comparative rust warranties...
MB RUST warranty is LESS than luxury car competition:
MB has only a 4 year/50,000 miles RUST warranty.
Porsche: 10 years/unlimited miles.
Infinity: 7 years/unlimited miles.
Jaguar: 6 years/unlimited miles.
Lexus: 6 years/unlimited miles.
BMW: 6 years/unlimited miles.
Audi: 5 years/inlimited miles.
..don't accept less than the Infinty....

The car was 5 years and 3 months old with 135000 miles on the clock .
My car is a 1999 Mercedes E300TD Avantgarde auto saloon in Azurite Blue.
I am very happy with MB-UK and the way they dealt with my rust claim..
All Mercedes in the UK registered after 1998 have a 30 year anti corrosion warranty, but some dealers need a bit of prodding before they will sort out rust

Good News
Well done....I am waiting to hear back from MB Canada on a similiar claim...we'll see what they say. The car should never have rusted in the first place. My concern is that MB has dropped the quality quite alot.
