This is an extract of the application guide from the GruppeM Japan site, confirmed none for the 430. They have successfully done the "Filter Ram Charger" (that's what they call it) on a Kleemanntized E55 W210 nonetheless.

Kleemanntized E55 W210...FAINT!!! Some retrofitting must be needed to fit over the K-blower.

Hubert: Hang tite on the purchase, cuz I'm currently doing some R&D with my bro-in-law's E39 M5 GruppeM intakes, I inspected the filter element and it's the same unit they use on the E39 540 (4.4) which retails for $850, only the M5 uses a dual setup. When I get my e-ride back, I'll have more info to share.

Hubert, as you can see from the chart the E55 kit is significantly more expensive than the 320 one (which is already very pricey!). There must be a reason why there are specific applications....not sure if it differs that much between the 4.3l and 5.5l. Anxiously waiting for Rich's results......

Yeah Rich, the Kleemanntized E55 is featured in the December 04 issue of Only Mercedes (just released) - a white T model complete with a Kleemann engine cover and all..... However, the GruppeM unit they'd used does not have that CF engine cover (only the funnel part) so I guess they must have used a 320 version but who knows, I can't read the dang article!

$850 for the (E430) is not that bad considering I paid $800 for a exhaust that gave me less HP. You won't know the results unless you try it and I hate not knowing.

Mmmmm, interesting article. However, if "WA" means Western Australia (as is it is commonly known), it is very close to the desert, hence does get quite dusty despite what the guy claims. Therefore it may not be as bad in less severe conditions, interesting nonetheless.

It's western Washington State in the US. It's practically a rain forest.

Besides, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you let through more air you let through more dirt. The factory air filters are the best compromise.
