Head Unit and Amplifier Problems.

Hi everyone, straight to the point. I have a 97 E320. I bought an aftermarket amplifier to power my rockford fosgate subs. I connected it to the battery and a ground, but theres a 3rd terminal which says remote turn on. I found out that this needs to be connected to my Head Unit. I pulled out my head unit and there is no remote turn on. Any idea on what wire it could be? Thanx for the help.

Yeah, what I did for another car + amp is this.

Battery is a no brainer.
Ground is a no brainer.

The Remote Turn I just wired to the ignition fuse.

I just pulled out the ignition fuse from the fusebox next to the battery, wired one end of the wire to one leg of the fuse, and put the fuse back in.

Now whenever the car turns the key, the amp turns on.

Not really, as long as you do it safe and cover up wires and stuff. When doing almost anything with cars, just use common sense. Make sure the wires aren't in any spot near a spinning object or overheating spot.

Also, if you are really scared about it, you can wire it to another spot where you get 12V during start up.
