Exclamation 722.6 Hard Limp Mode FIXED!!!

So with my 2001 E55, after valve body replacement and an OBVIOUS speed sensor problem, we remained in Limp Mode with the car not wanting to shift out of second gear.
There is scant information on this anomaly on the net. Posts recommending icarsoft scanners are years old and have been superceded by versions that have at least in my case, not worked.
I used a tool today that DID.
It's the Foxwell NT530 and the version I bought off of Amazon came with the 38 pin underhood connector. Other scanner brands I've bought with other 38 pin connectors haven't worked with "Failure to connect" messages abounding on screens.
I had to manually input the VIN but when I was able to interface with the Transmission Control Module, I was IN!!! I cleared all codes and selected the option to reset ALL Transmission Adaptation Data.
Get this tool and your problems are over if you replace the Conductor Plate or the valve body as we did.
