Extended Waranty Advice/Opinions

Has anyone dealt with Warranty Direct? I called the local dealer and spoke with accounts receivable who advised me that they were "Pretty Good". The salesman told me that Warrany Direct is the on-line extension of Interstate Dealer Services. $2100 with a $200 deductible. I figure I can fix anything that will break that is under $200 as I am a wanna be gearhead. I am getting it for AC, transmission and what this forum proposes the innevitable harmonic balancer fiasco! All help would be appreciated asap as I have 98 miles to make my decision.
Thanks in Advance

I bought them when the car had less than 10K on it,spent about 1500 $ and got no deductible up to 2010 or 100K whichever comes first.I did want to defer big expenses for as long as possible, and MB warranty was 75 % more expensive, for basically just a loaner. I think it was a good deal, and I like the dealer involvement in major repairs.

Stemags... Where did you get your birdseye steering wheel? Do you have pics? Also, I like your exhaust. Where did you get it? Is it just the muffler assembly?

Stemags...
Okay, saw all your pics. We have the same car, well mine is stock of yours... hee hee. I only upgraded the wheels and tires to 18" AMG STAGGERED. (I really like the look). Unfortunately, the dealer killed me on the cost... oh well. I have some questions if you don't mind?

Is the radio unit the factory command?
If not, how did you get the double din in there? Where did you get the Birdseye new cover piece?
If the radio is aftermarket do the steering wheel controls work?
The steering wheel, is it difficult to put on with the air bags?
Do all the controls work with the new wheel? ie page functions
The exhaust looks great. I am thinking the old muffler was cut out and the new one bolted bolted in place using the band straps on the pipes?
I think that is it for now.... THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWERS. My 1970 Corvette is very easy to work on... the E320 makes me nervous... Warranty.. hahah

The radio is a Euro Comand, installed be MbenzNL,,known as Steve,he brought the new birdseye wood pieces(comand piece and shifter piece for new folding mirror switch) with him to do the job.TV in motion bro
I did the Wheel myself, took 20 minutes, all the buttons work as before, easy to do and with the Comand, you have new functions such as NAV,TV,CD,TEL and the rest.
As for the exhaust,Im real happy with the mellow tone of the Remus system, immediate upgrade in throttle response too.
Hope these answers help you out
