Definitely something to do with the ignition to starter that shutting out right before cranking . If it does boil down to an ignition issue.. I’m hoping it doesn’t involve me taking it to a dealer for new key new ignition and programming smh …
So if your car crank by jumping the relay but does not start, then you have indeed starter circuitry problem. But to find what's wrong, yeah, you need multimeter.
Good luck. Electrical problem are one of, if not #1, hardest thing to concur. But be careful, make sure you don't fry anything else. Otherwise, it will be very expensive fix.
