Hey all, Finally finished my suspension refresh, went with eibach/bilstien setup..pads are #2 on all four corners. This pic is fresh off the jacks, needs alignment, but I was already thinking of going up in the front some more, and down in rear. Ill likely just drive it for a bit and see how it settles though before I get back under it. Opinions? Ty!
Up in the front a bit more. Back looks good to me. The rear of your car is still one step lower than my W210 E55. Lower can look cool but it really screws with the camber and suspension response.
Since I have both, to me, the W211 looks better raked (front lower than back). The W210 looks better level front to rear so it looks more like a "Russian Mafia Staff Car".

x2 on that. Not the ssme car, but when I had my Lincoln LS, I had almost the same look but I had to change the front to higher springs. Wait until you need to go under the building for parking or going up on a really steep ramp. Not to mention the speed bumps. But if you're in a area without any of these or not planning to go anywhere near these, should be OK. But our roads, no matter where you live, are not the same as road 10 years ago. What I mean is there's so many more pot holes...............
I get rubbing if I hit a bump in a tight turn but nothing other than that. In the pic in my sig I had #1 in the front but I have since switched to #2 or #3 (cant remember) to prevent bacon fenders. Also I was getting some rubbing from running a set a 4 rear monoblocks instead of the normal staggered setup.
Im running your exact previous set up (2F 1R pad) Vogt, B8 but with 31 ET 8.5" upfront. Your rubbing may come from those lower control arms. I was rubbing/scuffing driver side fenders especially with left hand turns but that went away after new lower control arms. I thought the gap between the tire and fender were uneven and people would say it looked like I hit a curb.
I did install KMAC and rear arms for camber adjustment and I am with in spec. I am noticing the aggressive drop is wearing out my bushings and links upfront much quicker.
mine with Eibach / Bilstein Sport, 2F and 1R pads. It has settled a bit more so I am going to raise it a few mm both ends next month. Always keeping my eye out for monoblocks, too

Are those W211 E55 wheels on your car? If so, the W211 uses 14mm lug bolts, the W210 uses 12mm lug bolts. W211 wheels on a W210 will result in broken lug bolts and wheels coming off the car
