Hello, I’ve been having issues with my car horn, and while troubleshooting I removed the steering wheel center/airbag a few times. This triggered the SRS warning light. There are no actual SRS faults—it just needs to be reset, which I’ve previously done at a workshop without any issues. I own a Launch CRP129X diagnostic tool (the same brand the workshop uses), but for some reason it won’t reset the SRS light. I select the correct vehicle model and enter the SRS system, but it fails to communicate. I followed all recommended steps, but no luck. When I run a health report, all modules show as “Not Equipped.” If I attempt to clear the code anyway, the tool reports success, but the SRS light flash once and does not turn off. I’ve also tried: Generic OBD-II mode An OBD dongle with mobile apps None of these methods worked. I realize this may be more of a diagnostic-tool issue, but I’m hoping someone here has experienced something similar or has advice on what I might be missing. I’ve attached a video below showing the process and the warning light. Thanks in advance for any help.
