People are funny...
I normally post in the CLK forum, but i thought you guys would get a kick out of this...Now i normally dont street race, but tonight my dad and i were out in his '00 E430 coming back from a Christmas Eve church service and we were getting on to the interstate on a two lane to one lane merging ramp. This guy beside us at the turning lane stop light was apparently trying to race us up the ramp because when we turned as we went under the overpass his tires were squealing. I barely touched the gas all the way thru the turn then nailed it in the straightaway and passed him like he was standing still he then did the traditional angry looser display by tailing me once we were on the interstate. Some people are just amusing. Out of curiosity i looked up his specs when i got home...
200? Ford Taurus SES...3.0L V6 155hp...0-60 in 8.2 secs!!!!
Im not so much braggin about beating this guy, cuz i think thats kinda dumb, but who in their right mind races someone who has a 115 HP advantage on them???
anyways, i love the E 430, just a bit too big for me right now. But you all have great cars
