Navigation install question...

Navigation install question...
My father is thinking about trading his 2000 W210 E430 for basically the same car but with 4-matic. I'm against the decision but its his call, i like RWD, but i'll still have my CLK for that. Anyways...he's wanting to trade it in but is having trouble finding a 4-matic with all the specs he wants. The most frustrating of these is the Navigation system. His car has COMMAND and the O.E. Sat Nav system. My question is this: if he finds a 4-matic that he likes and it has everything he wants but the Sat Nav system, would it be possible to take the Sat Nav system out of his current car, put it in the 4-matic and put the unit out of the 4-matic into the current one? How much would this cost? Will the wirings be compatable? Thanks for the help.

He installes navi to my 99 E320, which dealer told me it is impossible!
But, he doesn't install navigation not sold by him.
