Will headlights from a 1999 e320 fit a 2000?

Will headlights from a 1999 e320 fit a 2000?
I've been told that they will not fit. Others have told me that I just need to remove the bumper and they will fit. Can someone please verify this? If they do not fit, I will be placing these 1999 headlights up for sale. When I bought them from him, he said they would fit a 2000.

Well what you have been told is correct. They will not fit a 2000 unless you remove the bumper and replace it with a 99-96 bumper.

No they will not fit, not just the bumper, the mounting points are difference too. Even if you remove/replace the bumper, it still won't fit.

Nop. They will not fit. 2000 E320 style is diff. than the 1999 E320. The 2000 model style was influenced by the CLK sleek shape.
