Just wondering??
These pics were taken the day after X-Mas on the 5 and 60 freeways. Just wondering if this guy is a member here? I was in the passenger seat of my buddy's Chrysler 300C...the Benz got the jump on us through traffic..but we beat him in the end.This was MAJOR fun!

Which Benz?

I don't think that there is any way that a "Hemi" will beat most Benzs top end unless the Benz is my diesel, although I don't think mine has an electronic speed governor.
Which Benz was it? The 300Cs are not all that hot. I E, the 5.6 Nissans are quicker.
All this business about "It's a Hemi" is just so much bunk!

I don't think it's more about "It's a Hemi" then it is American designers have actually put something from paper concept to production without screwing it up. It's a fantastic car. It's not E55, but it's not 70K+ either.
I like what's happening, and hate it or love it, the 300C is a leap forward for Chrysler.

Believe me this car MOVES! And yes it does pull through the gears like a beast...it's obviously not your everyday run of the mill 300C.

Thought about One, but . .
I was considering one for our family car, but my wife
cannot get past that "chopped " top look.
As pointed out by CU, that lowered roof line makes you have
to lower your head to be able to see some traffic lights above.

as much as i like the 300c's, i test drove one before but i hit my head on the roof as i got out of the car 2 times, to low of a roof for me, over-all looks is really nice. theres a lot on the market now to fix them up but i hate the fact that there trying to make it like a bentley.. i would rock one for sure but i got other choices out there. nice ride, i love the sucide doors.......

Yeah they were a big hit at SEMA and Detroit. The Bentley look is a big part of the 300C aftermarket industry. My friend is actually launching his own company later this year based on 300C and 300 "dress up" parts. The lens covers being the first to hit. He's also gonna do stuff for MBz.
You must be pretty tall, I'm 6'3" and had no problems getting in or out. I think the roofline is an optical illusion...the shoulder line is higher than on most cars making the roof look chopped.
Green E300 DT, you're right, this car does have a govener, it won't go past 135, needs a chip for the high end. If the guy driving the Benz wanted to open her up he would've taken us.
