Help! Battery blunder. No radio now!
OK it's 5 degrees here. Left lights on, battery died. Went to jump it with a battery booster box, and it was wired backwards. So, I had the connections reversed and the cable attached to the positive terminal of the battery was so hot when I took it off it burnt my hand. I stuck my hand in a pile of snow, reversed the connection and it jump started up no problem. Now I have no radio. There is nothing on the screen and it does not accept or ask for the "radio code". I may have burned out a fuse or two perhaps? Which fuse by the battery is for the radio? I don't have the original owner's manual so I don't know what is for what? Is there any other fuse I should be checking? How much damage COULD have been done??? Thanks for all your help!!!

You may not cause any electrical damage, however any given time when a battery is disconnected, it's always gonna ask for a radio code. It's a feature in case if a battery was cut out or attempt to steal the radio. I'm sorry to hear that you burned yourself, I hope you're okay. Thank god you didn't have a electrical fire that would burned your entire car.

You effectivly hooked all your electronic up reverse-polarity - not good, not good at all.
If your lucky, you may have only blown one or two modules; I think you need to visit someone with a StarDiag system.

good news
I replaced the brake light switch and it fixed the abs/asr lights and now my taillights work. Then I replaced the fuse on the back of the radio and now it works. It looks like I didn't do any permanent damage to my baby with what could have been a electrical nightmare situation...
